Mikah
"No..." Fallenpaw murmured gently. "No, that isn't Skyclan scent, it's from the meeting, Sparrowstar... I'm sure they haven't breached our boarder..." then he shot up, his eyes wide and he shook his pelt. He seemed embarrassed and licked down his chest fur, ember eyes slightly nervous. "Heh. Sorry. Anyway! I'm ready when you are! I'm super excited."
"Uggg..." Faithpaw rolled over from where she was on her back. She got to her paws and shot her brother a fiery glare. "Y'know... I would sleep better if you didn't talk in your sleep."
"Move your nest," he shrugged, giving her a playful shove as Faithpaw stretched out, giving her pelt a shake to rid it of moss and nest particles.
"I'm ready to go, Stagcall! I'm gonna show you what I got!" ~ Shadowstar still resided as the only leader in the den. Cinnamonstar and Rowanstar were still deep in recovery. He was awake, laying with his back to the entrance. He was barely distinguishable from the darkness of the cave, outlined only by the dim glow from his Spirit Stone. His ears flicked back and a voice, shaky and rough, came soon after. "If you are able to move your mouth ligaments to form words and they are to come off your tongue in the correct order... I suppose you can talk to me," he said rather bitterly. He didn't turn to face her as the heartbeats drug on. "Come in, Treeheart. What can I do for you?" ~ Curled up by a heavily snoring Mouseear, Peartree was deep in slumber and didn't even notice as her kits left her side to go swarm their mother. Cashewkit let out a tiny battle cry and leaped at Cherryseed's tail while Pecankit followed loyally, a moss-ball in her tiny jaws. Behind the three was Tinykit, never one to miss an adventure- and not too far behind her was her much bigger brother, Tallkit. It seemed the were all wired and ready for a day of play. It was good to be outside! ~ Mistletoemelody greeted Wrenstar with a small purr as she settled in beside the Queen. "Good morning," she said in her usual friendly tone. Not too far away, her bubbly litter of five was tussling about in the sand of the clearing. "We haven't got to talk too much... I'm Mistletoemelody... everyone calls me Emmy though. I really wanted to get to know you before you and the others head back to Golden Park- is it?... You all saved our clan and I am so grateful for it." ~ Today. I'm going to do it today, Tansy... Canarytrill had promised herself to remember her last vow to her sister. She saw Dandelionbriar... Sweet Dandi... By the fresh kill pile with her brother and former mentor... and it made her heart swell. She was so proud of the younger she-cat and to see her now?... Starting to slowly fill back out in recovery from the illness that took Tansypurr... It made her chest ache. But nerves began to creep up her spine as she padded over. This was the first time she had spoken to Dandelionbriar since she'd been cleared of the Fever but things felt so different now. In a few days... it felt like everything had changed... Her paws carried her over quickly as she greeted Sunnyarch with her usual punch to the shoulder but she realized he was talking, quite energetically, and didn't dare interrupt.
"I'm telling you, both of you," Sunny was saying dramatically. "I think my mother is seeing someone. I just don't know who it is. Witheredleaf has never taken a mate- not ever! And I don't know how I feel about her getting all ooey-gooey with someone now that she's older..." he groaned and twirled his ivy-and-violet bracelet around his left paw in anxiousness and Canarytrill couldn't help but chuckle at him. "I don't want my Momma to be stuck up some tom's a..."
"Always dramatic, aren't we?" Trill said with her usual, odd, bird-like laugh. "Goodness Sunny. I think it's sweet if she has found someone. Everyone deserves someone." She shrugged. "What do you think, kits?" She asked, referring to Sparrowtalon and Dandelionbriar. New Warriors or not... they were still the youngest in the family. But then again... most all of what Canarytrill considered her "family" were younger than her.

Honest Abe
Crowcharm laughed a bit at her apprentice's enthusiasm but it was a welcome sound. Sitting next to her, Ravenhex- her twin sister- seemed far less amused. She rolled her eyes a bit at the tom but flicked her tail gently. Both of the black mollies were still thin and weak from recovering from the virus but they looked excited nonetheless. From the Warrior's Den, over padded the odd, eerie form of the hairless, sightless Warrior- the twins' father- Harbinger. He offered the apprentices a small, toothy smile and he lashed his tail in anticipation.
"Well that is unfortunate for Riverpaw and Frostedpaw, I'm afraid. Faithpaw set off earlier, I believe... I've talked with some of the other mentors and we are going to meet up at the lake in a bit for a joined training session. As for now, we're going to go down to the Sky Oak and meet with Palesmoke, Woodenpaw, Fogspell, and Rosepaw to do some battle training. I'm going to accompany you since my girls are still a bit worn down from the illness."
"You?" Venompaw hadn't meant to sound so rude. But he was... amazed... that the blind tom would be going to train with them. What could he do? At his exasperation, Harbinger chuckled.
"I am more capable than you think. I'm sure Duckfeather wouldn't mind you coming along with us... shall we go then, kittens?" ~ Blackthorn was on her paws immediately and she had a purr in her chest. She leaned over and prodded Darkviper's side. "Come on sleepyhead! We gotta get our dues in," she laughed, giving her spiky pelt a shake. "I want to catch some prey for Momma and Aunt Dovie. They've got kittens to feed afterall!" ~ (Yup! Tinderheart was the name. I have to redo his description though thanks to the deletion of OG Cloudclan... >.>...)
Marblefur was by her best friend's side immediately and Witheredleaf had taken off at once to fetch a Medicine Cat. A few moments later as Marblefur ran her tail gently across Doveheart's side, the motherly elder returned with Specterhowl- the clan's best kitting healer- at her paws. His eyes held shadows and Marblefur flinched, knowing he was thinking about the devastating loss of Spottedsquirrel. But when he saw Doveheart there, his face took on a serious, professional expression and he nodded, setting down a bundle of herbs by her mouth before taking his position by her hips.
"Whenever you're ready," he said in his gentle, calm voice. "We'll begin." ~ Umberpaw, seemingly far more settled now that his sister had been given the honor she deserved, padded over to Eaglepaw and gave his shoulder a gentle nudge with his head. "You're not the youngest Medicine Cat Apprentice anymore," he teased lightly. "How does that feel?"

Rocky
The next day, Windshutter placed a gentle paw on Newtarch's side to wake him. A soft tongue rasped across the blind Warrior's ear and he purred strongly against his mate's still-sickness-thin side. "Wake up, my love," he said in a tender, adoring voice. He had been so afraid... that he was going to lose his sweet Newt to that terrible Fire Fever. Now that he had him back- now that they were Warriors... he vowed to not take a single moment for granted. "It's time for you to meet the rest of your family. Feeling up to an adventure?" ~ Come the next morning, the gray and black dappled she-cat found her way over to Nightvale, where the pretty dark molly was with her brother and Graystone. Graystone was telling the siblings an exciting story, one about a wolf and a deer, when the Warrior approached. Graystone smiled warmly and the two butted heads affectionately.
"Good morning!" Echotrace purred as she curled her tail around her paws. "It's a beautiful day-day-day. Welcome to Echotrace."
"Good job!" Graystone praised as he gave Nightvale- his best friend- a gentle nudge with a wink. "I've been teaching her some Nightvale basics so she can talk to ya more."
"I have an impediment-ent-ent-ent," the Senior Warrior said with a flushed face. "So sorry if it takes me a while to sa--sa-say-say-say some things sometimes-imes-imes-imes."

That Rowan Guy
When the morning came, a massive shadow lumbered toward the Medicine Cat Den. Dark, heavy paws made no noise as Finalwar slipped into the thicket. He sighed when he saw how exhausted poor Dreamweaver looked and he set down the items he had been carrying in his mouth- a mouse by its tail and a rose by its stem. He nudged them over to her and gave her cheek a gentle, wary kiss. "You're worrying me, you know?" he whispered to her gently. "I think worry about you is the only thing that Ebonylove and I have ever even remotely agreed upon... what's going on with you, Dreamie?... Why won't you talk to me?... I want to help you, honey..." ~ (Itty bitty time edit here.)
Lionmane's eyebrows furrowed a bit. The excitement he felt about having Littlepaw as an apprentice began to melt away and he sighed, looking down at his paws. "Icedust and Haildapple came to me right after the big blow up with Blackbriar... I told them the truth. That I'm not their father and that I don't know who is but that they are important to me. Icegem and I do have a relationship and a history but it isn't a romantic one... My father, Shadowmane, he... When he was a real Bandit, before Icegem left- they had been best friends. Before Icegem trained as a Medicine Cat and she was a thief, he had been her mentor. They had a father-daughter type bond and she knew his secret- that he had a mate and kits in Cloudclan. So when Icegem fled, she told him and him only and he asked her to look out for me and my litter-mates." Lionmane smiled a bit. "So when she got the clan, I was already an older apprentice... with health problems that apparently I inherited from my father. Icegem used to treat Shadowmane for his too. That's how she knew how to take care of me. She's... like a second mother, an aunt, family. Those kits... can't be mine." Then Lionmane lowered his voice. "And they can't be hers either. Icegem is barren, Tatteredleaf. She can't have kits. She told me herself. She's protecting them... protecting someone else too. But isn't me. And now Haildapple and Icedust know that I'm not their father. I told them, I vowed on my honor as a Warrior... They're mad. And hurt. Understandably. But whatever Icegem is doing, this illusion she's spun... she's done it for a reason. I'm not the cat to undo it but I won't claim to have sired a litter that has nothing to do with me. I was going to confront Blackbriar about it..." he trailed, his pupils narrowing. "But she had to up and die of Fire Fever before I could. Of course. How fitting. Even her demise had to be a damn annoyance." ~ (Add in anyone you want!<3)

Palesmoke- When the clan talks about cats who "grew up well", Palesmoke's name is definitely one to come out of the mouths of many. An orphan found outside the Wall, he was originally a very quiet and almost skittish character who was very untrusting of nearly everyone around him. As a kitten, Cinnamonstar took a high interest in him and played the role of his adopted mother- and also his mentor when he became a 'paw. Palesmoke is a handsome tom with thick, pale gray fur. He does have black tipped ears and a black-tipped tail and his eyes are a bright, lovely blue color. He isn't too tall or too short but is a good average size and it compliments his medium body structure- neither thin nor too stout. He is a gentle spirit and has a soft spot for Queens and kits and can often be found hanging out around the nursery. He has remained very close to Cinnamonstar even as an adult and fancies himself her family and is the godfather to her five kits. Palesmoke had a rocky starting relationship with Fogspell- his former mentor- but they're a beautiful couple now that they're both a bit older. Palesmoke still has some self esteem issues and battles a lot with his anxiety and insecurities. He truly still doesn't see how wonderful he is but he has a strong family that builds him up whenever they can. He is patient and generally understanding but he does have a bit of temper... you would just really have to dig for it. || Mates with Fogspell. Gay. || Adopted son of Cinnamonstar and her former apprentice. || Mentored: Woodenspire. || cowbird. ||

Riversand drew back a bit when Fallenpaw shot up, slightly concerned and very confused about the tom's sleep talking he'd only now been made aware of. River didn't know any Sparrowstars, only Sparrowtalon. Maybe it was a game? But... what's Skyclan? Ah, nevermind, it's just a dream.
"I'm glad," he replied warmly as Stagcall chuckled at the younger two briefly bickering.
"That sounds fun," Stagcall told Faithpaw, turning to lead them out of the Den. "But we'll just be touring the territory today, not sparring. Not just yet, anyway."
•••
Treeheart winced at the bitter words. Yeah, I deserve that... "M-May I talk to you, I meant," she murmured before hesitantly slipping in. It took another beat or two before she worked up the courage to speak. "... I came to... apologize. For how I behaved- before- for what I said."
Letting out a shaky exhale, she went on. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Antlershard brought me to my senses almost right after that fight but we all got sick before I could say anything to you and you-" Her voice caught as she suddenly remembered Shadowstar, still in his nest with Cypressprayer looking over him with a pained look on her face. Treeheart shook her head again, swallowing the lump in her throat. "Now that we're... not dead... I wanted to apologize. I didn't mean anything I said, I was just... I don't know where that even came from, but I'm sorry. It was terrible, comparing you to toms like my father, and I'm sorry for that. You don't... have to forgive me, but..." Turning her eyes away from Shadowstar's hidden silhouette, she said, "I'm excited to be a big sister again."
•••
Cherryseed couldn't help her gleeful laugh as her kits swarmed her. She only just managed to pull her tail from Cashew, then flicked it in front of her once more, urging her on. She leaned down and kissed Pecankit on the head before smiling at the other siblings who padded out, eager to play. It took a moment, but she soon looked up to see Hazelkit still lounging beside Peartree.
"Are you alright, Hazel?" Cherryseed called in, loud enough to be heard but soft enough not to wake the other Queens. Hazelkit lifted her head and smiled, nodding, but then went right back to whatever daydream she was having.
Well, alright, Cherry turned back to the kits who were in a playful mood and lightly whacked Cashew with her tail. "Come on, then, Cash!"
•••
Wrenstar sat up and smiled as Mistletoemelody came to sit beside her, purring back. "Hello! Oh, I love your name, dear! I'm hoping we won't be leaving anytime soon, this place you have here is so lovely. And you don't have to thank us, really, it's what family does. We'd be terrible kin if we let you all waste away. That sickness is nasty. Believe me, I know..."
A flash of unfamiliar sadness hit her for a moment, remembering the painful terror of Tundrastar getting sick and the grief that hit her when it stole a life from him. She was fortunate to be one of those who survived, but that wasn't an "accomplishment" she spoke of proudly. It didn't feel like an accomplishment at all really, there was no triumph. Only... guilt and grief.
"Ah, but, nevermind that," she snapped her mind out of the shadows and let herself beam again. "Are those your little ones over there, Emmy? I can tell because that pretty thing over there is the splitting image of you! They're so beautiful, dear! Oh, they make me wish for mine to come faster, but I've seen plenty of kittings and it doesn't seem very fun."
•••
Dandelionbrair and Sparrowtalon seemed to be taking Sunnyarch somewhat seriously, but whether it was just to amuse him or if it was genuine wasn't clear. At least not until Canarytrill spoke up and a small grin crept across Dandi's face, the hint of an eyeroll showing while Arrow chuckled good naturedly.
Dandi, despite still being thin and sickly looking, still shot Canarytrill a glare upon being referred to as a "kit" once more. It held no malice, of course, but it was still as fiery as you'd expect from a girl raised by Shadowstar himself. "Okay, now this is getting ridiculous. And you can't even say I have kitten fluff anymore! I'm not a kitten!"
Now it was Sparrowtalon's turn to roll his eyes fondly.
•••
Two vibrant green eyes peered at a blue-silver she-cat that was sitting with her back towards him. He'd been crouched behind her for a minute or so, unsure if he'd been spotted. The Medicine Cat of the Watch seemed pretty busy with... whatever she was doing, but Cicada was bored. After those strange "Goldenclan" cats showed up, cats who apparently were related to Goldenstar, an old leader of Cloudclan or something, they'd mentioned that they should be clear to head to camp eventually. That hasn't happened yet...
".... What're you doing?" Cade finally got tired of his silent game and spoke aloud, his voice forever more peppy and loud than it needed to be, though thankfully not truly yelling. His "brothers", Lion and Colt, were elsewhere and had told him to behave. He had been behaving, of course, but behaving was always boring.

(Did StreamClan get moved to it’s own thread?)
Newtarch stirred at this, perking immediately at the mention of his family. He’d been waiting for a while to meet his other siblings, that was the only thing that worried him while he was sick. Not meeting his siblings. “Yeah! Let’s go Windy!” The blind tom rose to his paws, shaking away any remaining grogginess. It was taking everything to not hop around like an excitable kit. He was a warrior now after all, oh, he loved that he could say that now. He and Windy were both warriors! He couldn’t wait to tell his siblings. He couldn’t wait to tell them about Windshutter, as his thoughts raced his tail swished back and forth in excitement. He looked to where he figured the exit would be before chirping to find his way out. ~ (I might use some open intros that the podcast uses in WTNV from time to time, but I will do my best to do that as little as possible)
“Oh that’s no problem, Echotrace, back in our old group there was a tom we knew who talked kinda like you. Such a sweetheart he was.” Desertbluffs smiled at the memory. “Wondrous awe is often one tree branch above you. Today’s air quality is mauve and speckled. Welcome to Nightvale.” The shecat tilted her head and blinked a few times before bringing her head up again, rhythmically nodding. Desertbluffs smirked at his sister. “What is the size and color, Nightvale?” He asked. “Medium, but blue.” He smiled all the brighter at this. “I’m glad to hear that.” Nightvale had an odd way of telling cats what she thought of them, especially when she seemed to be head over tail about them. Mauve was always a good sign when it came to Nightvale talking about air quality, it meant that she liked the cat’s company, the size and color of the speckles determined the manner and how much she liked them; if the colors complimented the mauve, that meant that she loved you, if it clashed; well, you could be friends, but that was about it. Large speckles were for cats she saw as siblings, medium meant that there were feelings there, small were for friendship or acquaintances. Most cats who had small speckles clashed color wise with mauve.
