Abe Bluelotus nodded in agreement. Thinking about the other cats he’d met while he was still in SakuraClan. The clan was proud and strong much like them, yet there were times he felt like he was weaker when compared to the cats of HoltasoleyClan. They reminded him of his master in that regard. He wondered if the two clans were dealing with this illness as well. He wondered how Winter and Apricot were doing. “Awaishi can’t take Sensei.” He spoke. He will ask Kusuri and Seikatsu every day if he has to. “Let’s hope your gods... and StarClan have mercy. I don’t think everyone with this illness will die and Mutetree is not old so I’m hopeful in his chances,” come Morningheart’s meager attempt to comfort his friend further.

(I'm gonna do some heavy editing and time skipping to catch up everyone's timelines and to incorporate the medicines and healing. It may effect current RP strands quite a bit- but I'll make amends for it. I swear. We gotta get this fever knocked out. Also, for the sake of everything, we're gonna call the hole in the Wall patched. Me having to make us a new page really knocked out a lot of the RP strands we had going due to time restraints... x.x We gots important stuffs to do!)

Literally All Y'all
Three days. That was how long it took. From the welcoming of the Goldenclan cats to the clan... It had taken three days to heal the dwellers of Cloud Valley. Now, the coughing had stopped and the masks were put away. Kits played outside the nursery yet again and Queens were allowed some freedom. All cats had been cleared of the Fever- except for three: Rowanstar, Cinnamonstar, and Ravencypt- of which, they were still quarantined to the Medicine Cat Den, not entirely cured from the illness. Foxtrot had recovered well from the fox attack (thanks to Velvetthread and Aldershade- and Snowypaw, let's be honest) and had a big patch of cobwebs on his shoulder from the confrontation. The pup- and its parents- were still hiding undetected somewhere in the forest. There was to be a meeting today- everyone had said. To fully mourn the dead and celebrate Goldenclan's homecoming- something that had yet to be entirely official. To make a handful of apprentices into Warriors and some kits into Apprentices. The clan was healing. Moving forward. Celebrating. Finally... peace.

(I don't know why, but Cherryseed's tender thoughts with Peartree nearly made me cry.)
The rest of the day into the ones that followed had seemed to go by in a blur. Peartree wasn't sure what made her volunteer to take Spottedsquirrel's kits. Not sure at all. A gut feeling? Intuition? Pure desire- or desperation- perhaps?... She wasn't sure. But now, she was a mother. And so was Cherryseed. And that meant more to her than she could describe. The small gray she-cat was on her way to the nursery, delighted to once again see the Queens and kits outside. And today, her heart was especially light as the kittens had opened their eyes only the night before. She and Cherryseed had both agreed not to settle on names for the kits until they had open eyes and steady legs. She would be there soon too- Cherryseed- and then they'd have names for sure. Oh. What delight!
The little gray molly stopped outside the nursery with a dip of her head. Lilacdew had passed the litter off to Coldrise for now, and the dark-furred she-cat looked up with lovely green eyes and motioned for her to come nearer. The kittens, still smaller than all the rest, were enjoying their first adventure outside and were tussling around in the sand on unsteady paws. Peartree beamed, her heart bursting with pride. Two of the kits were quite pale with splashes of brown color but the third, the tiniest, was a dark, syrupy brown with red and darker hues. She wondered what Cherryseed would want to name them as she settled down with Coldrise, watching them fondly.
"Shame about Blackbriar," Coldrise said without a drop of regret in her voice. "Truly and honestly. Hm?"
Peartree chuckled and shamefully covered her mouth with her paw and nodded. "Mhmm... A real shame." The little reddish kit let out a squeal when the cream and brown dappled she-cat bit her tail and Peartree batted the kitten's ears, much to her surprise as she looked up at the molly with wide, blue eyes.
"Not so rough," she scolded and the little flecked kit mewled softly.
"Sorry, Momma." Her heart nearly leaped. She knew! She knew she was her mother- or she could just sing. ~ "Today's your big day, hm?" Foxtrot's rugged meow came softly as he walked up beside Snowypaw and nuzzled her shoulder. He was still walking with a slight limp due to his run in with the fox pup- but it was much better than it had been during the initial attack. "Are you excited to become a Warrior, my love?" ~ "Good morning, Miss Wrenstar," the gentle voice was that of Specterhowl as the Medicine Cat padded into the nursery, his eyes bright from the first decent night of sleep he had, had in weeks. "I just wanted to check on you. I know your rest is quite important but it is also very important to me to see to the Queens. I'm sorry you had to come all this way during such a dangerous time in the Valley but I, and all of the Medicine Cats, are so thankful your patrol came when it did... How are you feeling? Is our nursery comfortable enough for you?" ~ "Alderthorn, look!" Lilacdew's voice was brimming from excitement from outside the nursery. She bounced eagerly back and forth on her paws, tears welling in her eyes. Aldershade was heading over to them, a bright look on his face... And with Treeheart, Dandelionpaw, and Antlershard on his heels. They all looked worryingly thin- so much so that ribs were showing- and their eyes were still hollow but the gleam in them was bright. They had fought a duel with death itself... and won. Little Nix piped up immediately from where he had been wrestling with Tinykit and Fallenkit and he jumped up and down.
"Hooray! They're alright!"
As Treeheart and Dandelionpaw rejoined their mother's side, Shadowstar watched from the shaded area under the Highstone. His molten orange eyes were bright but filled with entire storms of emotions. Every night, for damn near every second since he had fallen ill, his consciousness had been filled with the terrible screams of the Nightmare Kitten and his mind was clouded constantly by the rage in Treeheart's voice. He had insisted, as the cure had been administered, that he be treated last and that Dandi and Treeheart were priorities. He loved them- after-all- but the psychological torment he had been through during the week of his ailment had devoured something inside of him. Perhaps a thin layer of trust or comfortability that had taken moons to form- now it lay damaged. He saw the pure happiness on Alderthorn's face and saw the gentle rounding of her belly and his stomach twisted with a complex whirlpool of emotions. Guilt. Anger. But strongest of all?... Fear. It threatened to swallow him up. To eat him whole. And he took a step back, disappearing into the shadows until the only thing remaining visibly of him was the soft glow of his fiery eyes and the gentle light pulse from his Spirit Stone.
Monster. Monster. Monster!
Yes... Back to the shadows. Where he belonged. Where he should have stayed.

(Since Streamclan isn't directly effected by what's going on in Cloudclan, I don't need to update this strand any.)
"I meant no offense, I'm sure," Heavyrain said softly. Hawkeye was pretty. But he dare not even begin to voice that out loud. "I saw a little one with you all earlier. Who is he? He's off with Lionpaw there. She's the best cat to be around for kittens. She has a gift with them, she does. I'm quite proud of her actually. I take part in training her but I wouldn't call her an apprentice- of course not. Toms can't mentor on their own." ~ "Hey, hey. Hey... It's okay. They're not here..." Slowly, Lionpaw lowered herself down until she was eye level with Ravenkit. She took a deep breath, worry crossing her face. "They can't hurt you here, Ravenkit. I won't let them. No games then. What about a story? Keep your mind off the bad things?" ~ "She would have been... an incredible Warrior," the voice was soft and came from a gentle source. A silky, solid black she-cat padded up to Quietstream, her icy green eyes sympathetic as she sat at his side. It was Mintgem- one of the clan's senior warriors. She leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed, shaking her head. "We've lost a lot of cats this past year... I think that... for the most part, it's over now. I'm so sorry about her though, Quietstream. You two had an incredible bond. Starclan won't forget that. ~ "Newtpaw!" The excited cry came from a bouncing ball of energy as Nightruby rushed over to her brother- the apprentice recently released from the Medicine Cat Den. The black she-cat tackled him lightly, wrapping her arms around her brother as she brought him in tight to her chest and hugged him lovingly. "Yay! You're not dead. You look like fury though. We're gonna have to feed you six times a day to get some meat back on your bones." ~ Gentle paws covered Nightvale's eyes and a tail laid over Desertbluff's face. "A glittering gem still stuns the onlooker," came a slightly raspy, playful voice. "Welcome to Graystone. I'm back, baby!"
(I'm gonna bring Echo in for Nighvale after the meeting. )

Two weeks. They'd been at the Wall for two weeks! And damn, did it feel good to be home. Fogspell's paws still ached even though two days had passed since they'd come back from their mission for the Watch. Now, he was on his way to the Training Hollow to meet with Woodenpaw and Palesmoke for the next part of the apprentice's training. His nephew had been keeping himself busy while his mentor was away, as not to lose his edge and forget what he learned. When he came across the two toms, Woodenpaw was on his back with Palesmoke's teeth around his throat- gently, mind you. Fogspell nodded, clearly impressed and he curled his tail around his paws.
"I see you haven't missed a beat without me!" he purred with a yawn. "Sorry I'm late! My old bones were not a fan of all of that journey back down to the Valley." ~ The days following Spottedsquirrel's death had been hard on Marblefur. But for reasons he didn't feel like sharing to anyone but Doveheart. Woodtremor had come down in the night, hysterical and beside himself with grief for the loss of his daughter. It tore him to pieces because he felt like he couldn't even truly mourn the loss of Spottedsquirrel because nobody knew he was her father... and now, being co-captain of the Watch, nobody ever could. Ever. He had been leaning harder and harder on Marblefur and it was taking a toll on the pretty blue molly. Now, she was pushing frantically into the nursery, her baby blue eyes wide in concern. "Dovie?" she whispered. "Doveheart, are you awake?"

Rowan- Updated
The days following Goldenclan's arrival had been a blessing. But something had been keeping Cypressprayer awake. Now, the pretty gray-and-white she-cat padded silently over to where Dreamweaver was working and she sat down, curling her tail around her paws. Her miscolored eyes scanned her dearest friend's face and she exhaled slightly, still looking as exhausted as she had been when the Fever was in full swing. "We need to act... now, Weaver," she said in a whispered voice. "The clan is healing. But Cinnamonstar and Rowanstar are still sick. Those are two... very important cats... We can't let him take them too. You need to finish what you started with Talcshade and it needs to be now... What can I do to help? I'm not letting you do this on your own." ~ Blackbriar's death had spread quickly through the camp. And... nobody had seemed to care too much. Lionmane had been particularly concerned with Tatteredleaf's mental health in the days following though, considering that she had watched a clan-mate die... and also considering that he couldn't so much as blink in the wrong direction without someone whispering about "being the father of Icepaw and Hailpaw". It was driving him mad. So he kept his focus heavy on his mate. He dropped a mouse at her paws and smiled, his eyes tired and face troubled as he ran his tongue over her ear. "Good morning, my love," he said with more enthusiasm than he really held. "Today's a big day. Everyone's finally getting back to normal after all this virus business. Once Cinna and Rowan get it cleared out of their systems, the Valley will be right as rain again... It's about damn time too. We need a break- a real one. How are you? You alright?" ~ "Hey, good morning!" the excited mew came from Umberpaw as the usually shy apprentice made his way over to where the Goldenclan Medicine Cats- Firepaw and Arcticthunder- were sharing tongues in the sun. He greeted Firepaw with a nod and Ace with a small, clumsy bow. "Just wanted to check in on you guys... maybe talk a bit since there's time for that now. I have so many questions... if I can ask them?"
"I'm fine with it if she's fine with it," the white tom replied with a chuckle. "It'll be good for Firepaw and I to make friends. We haven't seen other Medicine Cats in ages." ~ "My Otter!" The eager cry came from Vanilladrop as the creamy colored she-cat went flying into Otterbreeze, nearly taking the Warrior off her feet. "Oh, I've missed you so much!" She exclaimed, as Vanilladrop had been up on the Wall helping to patch the gap, and then had been sent home early and was laid up in the Medicine Cat Den with Fever. Despite being a little thin... she looked good a new. "Did you miss me?!"

(I’m gonna timeskip us so we a bit so we’re on the same page as the others)
It felt like like so much had happened in the past few days. Between GoldenClan showing up and helping the clan heal to Sensei being allowed outside again. “Sensei!” The trio of younger cats tackled their master when they first saw him. “Crow, Stygiansnow, Bluelotus.” Mutetree smiled at his children. It felt odd to call them that, yet there were times were it fit to say as such. Crimsonfang sat next to Morningheart, smiling. “Thank you for keeping them grounded. Mute and I would have worried if they didn’t have anyone to rely on aside from themselves.” She replied.
Chris
“Tha’s my nephew and Hawk’s son, Ravenkit.” The tom replied from beside Oneeye. Sunstream studied the tom, he was looking at Hawkeye in a similar way he used to look at her. He’d keep an eye on the two, while Hawk could handle her own usually and she would never betray Nightstorm like this, the tom was bigger than her and sadly size was all it took sometimes. He looked to the Old Man as to see if he spotted it. His silent question was answered when the older tom spoke. “You can say what you wish, Hawkeye doesn’t offend easily.” ~ Ravenkit looked at the shecat when she mentioned stories. Mothbear and Azurevoice always told him stories, especially when he was scared, it was the only thing he still liked doing. The younger tom slowly nodded his head as the shakes died down a bit. ~
“How is it fair, Mintgem?” The tom silenly asked, “Why do they have to take the young? The elderly in a morid way, I get it, but kits and appreciates? Why?” He let’s out a sigh, “I’m sorry, I know I sound cruel.” He looked to Hawkflame who silently sat across from him, staring off. He wondered if this was how Hawkflame felt when he lost their mother? When he thought he lost Wildsong? “You learn to live with it. The loss. It becomes a part of you.” Hawkflame spoke as he continued to stare at the ground. ~
“Nightruby!” Newtpaw smiled albeit tiredly. “Of course, I told Momma StarClan wasn’t ready for me. Did you meet my other siblings? Did Vixenshade tell you about them? Are they okay? Are you guys okay? How’s Momma?” Question after question came spilling out of the blind tom’s mouth as he chattered away. He could finally move about and see his family. ~
Nightvale rose to her paws almost immediately, tackling the tom to the ground in a hug. The shecat laughed in hysterics. Graystone was fine! He was okay? Desertbluffs looked up and smiled. “Nightvale, let’s not smother him.” He joked as he lightly pulled his sister off. “A small mercy sees the sun. A great silence rains heavily. Welcome. To Nightvale.” She tilted her head before taking the gem Graystone had given her to guard out, handing it back.

Chris (I dint know how to make things bold or whatever there is no key on my reply box. Also did all of GoldenClan come?)
Palesmoke released his hold on his apprentice and helped him to his paws as Fogspell appears over the ridge. “Oh you hush it with that,” the younger warrior scolded light,y, his eyes twinkling as he greeted his mate with a kiss. “Our kits will not have an elder as a father- I won’t stand for it!” The last few days had been stressful, complicated and rejoicing all in one. Nonetheless, peace had returned to the Valley and they could continue to live the lives they had all fought for, which was all good for an ever-worrying Palesmoke. He now turned his bright gaze back to Woodenpaw, who had been adamant in learning battle moves and while he was doing his best to be as accurate with his teachings and lessons as possible, he much preferred not having to spar with the smaller tom. Nonetheless, he was learning very well. “So, did you get that Woodenpaw? How do you feel about it?”
...
The hectic events of the last few days had all cats bothered and on edge to say the least and while things were calming down, the death of Spottedsquirrel still loomed hugely in the nursery especially. Her surviving kits were well enough, but even Doveheart had a hard time seeing them without feeling pain in her chest for the lost of their mother and the fact they’d never know her. Doveheart wasnt close to her of course but dying while kitting was one of the worst things ever- especially being witness to it. Not to mention she was getting awfully big at this point and the kicking, shifting and clear unrest of her soon new arrivals was gnawing on her. Which is why she nearly snapped when she heard her name, being awoken from restless sleep once again. She turned her narrowed gaze to the caller, before softening when she saw the frantic blue gaze of Marblefur as she squeezed in the den.
“Yeah, yeah I’m here love,” She mewed in response, crouching alert as her friend approached.
Rocky
“Oh, it was nothing really,” Morningheart replied, a bashful smile on his face as a warmth on his body caused him to turn away. “It was just support and presence they needed.”

“Even so, you were able to give that to them when we were not. As my sister said, we are grateful for your help.” Sandpelt added with a bow of his head. He would hunt in their names as tribute for their intervention. And for gifting them a friend like Morningheart.

Chris
(They're Mommas 😭)
Cherryseed felt almost dizzy each morning. It took days, but soon the clouds of sickness that hung heavily over the clan faded. Raven and Crow were better, Harbinger was happy. And... she and Peartree were mothers.
She still couldn't believe that. The moment Peartree volunteered to take in the kits, her heart soared. She didn't even know how to go about being a parent. She didn't even know what to name them. But... these little things, the little kits she could now call her own... were now so precious to her. She's also never seen Peartree's eyes glow so bright. She wouldn't take things back if she had the chance.
Now that the cats in the Nursery could get out and breathe fresh air, Cherry headed over to check on Peartree and their litter. It wasn't long before she noticed Coldrise and Peartree, smiling under the sun. Three kits played at their paws, two lightly colored and one a darker shade. She'd know those little ones anywhere.
"Hello, Sweet Pea," Cherryseed purred as she padded over, turning her gaze to the little ones there. "Oh..."
"Hi, Mommy..." one of the three she-kits melted towards her, making Cherry's chest warm.
"Their... eyes are open..." Cherryseed turned to Peartree, blinking her misty eyes. "Our daughters... we get to name them now."
•••
Snowypaw turned and let out a delighted gasp when seeing Foxtrot, reaching and gingerly hugging him around his neck, making sure not to jostle his injury. With a kiss on the cheek, she pulled back with a beaming grin. "I am... I'm so excited!" She purred. "How are you feeling? I knew foxes were dangerous, but I didn't know the pups were just as vicious..."
•••
Wrenstar had been awake for a while now. She'd slept enough, obviously. Tunny would chew her ear off if she didn't, such a worrier. But there were so many precious kits in this clan! Some were older and ready to be apprentices and one litter had just recently opened their eyes! Her heart melted upon seeing all of them, the sweet things, still bright and happy despite all the things that had been going on with the clan. She did love kits. It's why she was so eager to have her own.
She turned and smiled when Spectorhowl entered, giving a soft purr in greeting. "Oh, hello! I'm fine, really, got plenty of sleep! Don't worry about the travel, it was nothing at all! I was happy to come, I wanted to! I didn't know a single cat in Goldenclan who remembered seeing our Cloudclan brothers in person, so I really couldn't just sit back and stay. If my kits are born within the safety of these Walls, well, that's not a terrible thing, is it?"
Shifting so she was more comfortable with her swollen stomach, she turned to Spectorhowl again. "I'm feeling fine, really. They're active little ones, that's for sure. And the Nursery is lovely! Lovely Queens, sweet kits. I couldn't be more comfortable."
•••
(Stop breaking my heart, Chris....)
Alderthorn nearly cried out in tearful joy as the young ones emerged from the Medicine Cat Den. She embraced her daughters immediately, burying her face into their pelts and dampening them with her tears. Dandi groaned aloud, but she didn't dare fight it. Treeheart let out a breathy laugh and leaned her weight against her mother, letting her eyes fall shut.
"I'm so glad..." Alderthorn whimpered, running her tongue over her daughters' heads and ears. "I'm so happy you're all alright. Stars, thank you. Thank you."
Dandi did eventually squirm out of her mother's hold, but Sparrowpaw immediately grappled her into a hug, shedding tears of his own. "Oh, cut it out, 'Row..." Dandi murmured, but wrapped her arms around him in return, though her grip was nowhere near as strong. "I'm fine. You weren't getting rid of me that easily." Sparrow let out a muffled sob into her neck, but didn't respond otherwise.
Treeheart turned and grasped at Antlershard, giving him a weak smile. "Sorry I got you sick, Ant..." she rasped before gazing around and looked towards Alderthorn again. "Where's... Dad?"
Alderthorn hesitated for a moment, gazing around herself. "Mmm... I'm... not sure. Recovering still, maybe?"
"He wasn't in the Medicine Cat Den," Tree murmured back, pulling back a bit to let a proper look.

Morningheart purred lightly at the tom’s compliment and nodded gratefully at him before sneaking a quick glance at the three cats in name. They were all happy and relieved especially Crowfire- expressions he was pleased to see again in their faces. “It’s really all been my pleasure.”

"They're extremely active. Small as they are- this is a strong group!" Coldrise said with a smile that was nearly proud. The darker kitten stopped in front of Cherryseed, her eyes wide.
"You have to be my Momma," she said wistfully as she looked up at the red she-cat with an adoring expression. She pressed her face into the red Warrior's legs and purred, a bright, loud sound. "I look just like you!"
"Well, that she does," Peartree said with a choked voice as the little gray molly took the pale flecked kitten in her arms. The spunky she-cat batted at her ears playfully. "Got ourselves a fighter here, don't we?..." ~ "Anything can be dangerous when they're frightened," Foxtrot told her simply. He lifted his head, eyes bright when a handsome cat came padding over to him. A dusty brown tom with darker points. Snowypaw's brother- Hickorypaw. The pretty apprentice bumped his head against his sister's shoulder and beamed at his grandfather- giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Well hey, Hick," Foxtrot purred, proud of how beautifully his grandchildren had grown. "Excited for today?"
"Nervous," Hickorypaw admitted with a small chuckle. "To be in the first round of apprentices made into Warriors following the Fever?... I feel blessed. And guilty... Sweetpaw should be with us..." the stroke of sadness allowed for an honesty he hadn't wanted. Hickorypaw, bit by bit, had been falling for the tender heart in Sweetpaw. The days in silence without her laugh were particularly painful but it was a thought he in general tried to avoid. ~ Specterhowl chuckled gently and nodded. "Come on. The Fever has lifted and I insist you get some sunshine. The other Queens are above enjoying the day and Tundrastar is insistent on you making friends," he said with a purr. "He loves you a lot... I can tell. You hang the moon and stars in his sky. A love like that is rare. I appreciate it for you." ~ "I'd get sick with you anytime if it meant you didn't have to suffer alone," Antlershard told her lovingly with a kiss to Treeheart's temple. He in particular looked quite rough. A tom with so much height and muscle structure to be so thin was something eerie for sure. It would take many mice and a lot of exercise to get him back to a place where he looked fit and full again. "And well, he is the only leader clear of the virus for now. I'm sure he's swamped with everything he has to do," he explained sympathetically. "There are kits to be made apprentices and apprentices to made Warriors... Spottedsquirrel and Blackbriar both passed away while we were struck down by the fever. I'm sure there is a lot to discuss." He flicked an ear. "On a side note..." Antlershard dropped his voice to a near whisper when addressing Alderthorn. "This meeting should see you becoming a Deputy... are you ready?"

(Not yet, the initial patrol was Wrenstar, Tundrastar, Firepaw, and Arcticthunder. The next meeting- the one for August, will have an actual group.)
"Good!" Woodenpaw replied as he pushed to his paws and gave his pelt a shake, sending particles of sand flying in all directions. "I'm so happy to have you and Palesmoke back honestly," he said with a small, shy smile. "Not that Miss Cottonfeather didn't do a good job but she honestly scares me just a little bit..." he flicked an ear back in embarrassment. "And she doesn't train like you two do. I just guess I'm more comfortable because you all are family and I'm so awkward." ~ Marblefur melted into Doveheart's side and the tears came fast and steady. She held her precious friend close and cried until she could focus enough to think to speak. She wiped her eyes with the back of her paw and steadied her breathing. "I... Doveheart, I'm nervous," she said in a hushed, shaky voice that was so much less confident and playful than her tone usually was. "I... I found out that I'm expecting again..." she nervously curled her tail around her paws and slightly swollen belly. "But something about it has me raw inside. Maybe it's because I know that my first litter are about to become Warriors and take their own path... but I think it's mostly because... I'm afraid that Woodtremor won't be happy because he is grieving so hard for Spottedsquirrel. I don't even know if I should tell him yet... Oh, my head is just such a mess, Dovie..." she sighed, exasperated and crestfallen. "I don't know what to do or how to feel."

At that, Heavyrain looked rather surprised. He shook his head a bit and chuckled nervously. He didn't know enough about these characters to be too open or friendly with them. One wrong word could have him severely punished... and would undo the seasons of work he had been doing for Streamclan's underground resistance. "A tom is not to say something out of stride to a she-cat," he said wryly. "But thank you for the opportunity." He offered a gentle, genuine smile. "Anyway. I was wondering if maybe you would like a tour of the territory? I know that Silverfang knows it well but the rest of you know nothing of the Water Vale and I would like for you to feel comfortable in your new home." ~ "So when I was a kitten," she began in a soft voice. "I was really silly and got into trouble a lot. One time, I tried to hide in the leader's den to scare Koistar- she's my godmother, you see- but I fell asleep and when I woke up, Darkwater had come to the den to exchange her moss and I didn't know it was him. I scared him so badly that he nearly fainted and scolded me something awful. Which... he shouldn't have been able to do because he's a tom but he's a Medicine Cat so it's a bit different. And one time, I pretended I was a squirrel and I smeared my tail in honey and ran around the camp biting Warriors with my squirrel teeth. I had to stay in the nursery for a whole week after that!" ~ "It isn't fair," Mintgem said simply. "No, not at all... You will heal, Quietstream. I know it seems hopeless right now but... it will get better. I promise," she said softly. "Time heals all wounds- even heartbreak. The next line of apprentices are to be named today... do you want to take another or do you want to take a break for now? I personally would get right back out there. A mind as sharp as yours deserves to be shared with those who thirst for knowledge." ~ "No, I haven't met the others yet," Nightruby replied softly. "I've been busy training some of the apprentices who were left without mentors due to the virus. Vixie did tell me lots about them! They're by the Warrior's Den now if you want to see them? We're fine- Momma's fine, just worried about you," she said softly as she covered his ears in gentle licks. "Do you need more rest or do you want to go see everyone?" ~ "Ah! You kept is safe for me. Thank you!" He purred, taking the Spirit Stone back with a small smile. He settled it over his head and it nestled against his bony throat and he exhaled happily. "Yeah, I've got a lot of recovery to do," he said with a groan. "I can't take an apprentice now- like I wanted... but I'm not dead so that's good. I'm just very weak and very tired. My appetite isn't back yet so thinking about eating makes me want to vomit... but I'm fever free." He stuck out his tongue, showing it free of blisters but it was plenty scarred. "Thank the Stars for that... for a minute there, I really thought I wasn't going to make it."

"That's good! Thank you, Coldrise. You didn't have to do this, with your litter still keeping you busy," Cherryseed purred to the dark furred Queen, before her eyes landed on the darker colored kit in front of her.
She was a true outlier from her siblings, her pelt all the various colors of autumn, she stood out like a sore thumb compared to her sisters. Cherryseed smiled and gathered the little kitten into her arms, kissing her sweet face. "I am your Mommy... It's lovely to see you..." she looked over the little one, trailing off as she tried to think of a name.
Fruit related, maybe, like Harbinger said. Applekit? No... Berry? No, not that either...
With a sudden burst of inspiration, Cherryseed blurted out, "Pecan. Pecankit. A sweet pea, like your Momma Peartree." Turning, she gave Peartree a questioning look, silently asking if she liked the name.

"But we didn't even do anything to it..." Snowypaw couldn't help but pout a little. "We didn't even see it until it lept out at us..."
Turning and smiling at her brother, she purred in greeting, bumping her shoulder affectionately against his. Listening to him speak on his nerves and guilt, her brightness dimmed a bit and she nodded sadly. "She should... I hope they give her a Warrior name, like they did for Ribbontrace. She deserves it."

"Oh, I'd love to go out!" Wrenstar got up and began making her way out, ignoring the squirming in her womb as her kits disagreed with the sudden movement. Her smile softened and her eyes shone with affection as Spectorhowl mentioned her mate. "Oh, my Tunny, I love him too... He seems all big and scary, but he's such a sweetheart. He was so afraid of the thought of me traveling, you should have seen his face when Arc mentioned it! But I told him I'd be fine and I proved it! He just worries, is all, the sweet thing."
•••
Treeheart sagged a bit, nodding as she realized that yes, Shadowstar would be very busy now that he's cured. She half wonders why the cure had worked for him but didn't seem to be helping the other leaders. Maybe they just hadn't made enough the first time around... "Right, right..."
Alderthorn looked up at Antlershard whispered to her, then hesitated as she suddenly remembered exactly what he was talking about. "Ah... yes. I-I don't know if I'm ready, really. I'm not sure how it will go, seeing that I'm pregnant and all..."

Both siblings smiled. “I haven’t seen them this happy since they each became warriors.” Sandpelt spoke. “Crowfire, Stygiansnow, Bluelotus. Mute still needs his rest.” The trio got off of Mutetree soon after. “Do you need food Sensei?” Crowfire questioned. “No, I am fine, Crowfire, I just need some rest.” He assured with a smile. “They will not be leaving his side for a while.” Crimsonfang chuckled.

“If we agree to live here that is.” Oneeye replied. “Why are toms treated like tha’ anyway?” Hawkeye asked, tilting her head. With everything Silverfang told them and the opinions Oneeye held towards the clan it still baffled her that they treated half the clan as lesser. “Why don’t we talk about that at a different time, Hawk?” Silverfang spoke. He didn’t want the tom to get in trouble with the clan. “Migh’ as well look around.” Sunstream spoke looking between the twins and Oneeye. ~ Ravenkit tilted his head to the side, confused at the mention of Darkwater. Uncle Oneeye told him and his brothers that most of the shecats here didn’t like toms, Silverfang especially, but why? Why didn’t they like his Grampa? Why did they not like toms? “... Why do the cats here nae like the toms? Why don’t they like Grampa?” He found himself asking. ~ “Perhaps.” “Mintgem is right, Quietstream. Apprentices need mentors like you. Not just for what you know, but because you care.” Hawkflame looked up at his brother. It was because of Quietstream that both Wildsong and Hawkflame were better adjusted to this life. Yes there were other cats who helped, but it was Quietstream who coaxed them into doing so. ~ “Can I see everyone? Please Nightruby? I feel fine.” He spoke excitedly. A small part of him was tired, but his desire to see his siblings felt more pressing. ~ “Nightvale was worried about you too. When we couldn’t visit she insisted we talk with your Spirit Stone.” The odd shecat didn’t seem to have a problem with Desertbluffs’s confession. After all to her it was the same as talking to Graystone right now and if he was being honest a small part of him felt that he could hear them.

Palesmoke laughed at the apprentice before licking his ear affectionately. “I understand, love. Some cats don’t work well for each other- that’s why leaders must be wise when it comes to pairing up two cats for an apprenticeship. Cottonfeather... is a great warrior. A tad bit intense I’ll say but som cats need that fire to keep them on their toes, you know?” He sat down next to Woodenpaw, lightly dusting off particles he missed. “I’m sure you’ve been able to tell, but I was a very awkward apprentice too. Didn’t really talk to anyone when Cinnamonstar took me in. And if I’m honest I still don’t- like you my family is who I’m closest and friends with. Ther s nothing wrong with that as long as you maintain a decent and respectful relationship with everybody else.”

Doveheart blinked surprised when her friend began to cry, but quickly shifted so that she pressed her cheek on hers and soothingly drew her tail along her back. “Oh my precious,” she cooed, her heart feeling heavy at the pain of her friend. It wasn’t often either of them cried and broke down in front of the other- as a matter of fact the closest Marblefur had come to this was when the kits were announced they were leaving for the Tribe. “This is understandable my love. But it’s going to be fine dear- your kits will be strong warriors no matter where they are and they won’t forget you- I know Vixenpaw comes to you often now that she’s older which shows that they’ll always need you as a mother. As for Woodtremor...” Doveheart was rather lost on that one. She’d never been in a situation like that and but she with every bit of her understood the pain of the Watcher- losing a kit was life ending as a parent. “He’s in deep mourning Marble, yes. But yo make him happy. He came to you for comfort, to you to bring him some sense of life during this difficult time, he will not be upset or distant because your expecting his kits. They will not replace or bring back his daughter but will give him hope that this pain won’t last forever. These kits and his new grandkits. All he needs is time, my lovely. You will be fine.”

Morningheart watched them happily before stepping forward. “Hey... now that he’s awake how about we go hunting? Spend a little energy and bring him something back?”

Bluelotus nodded his head looking outside camp. Stygiansnow and Crowfire looked out as well before the trio looked at each other. “Let’s go.” Crowfire nodded as she walked out. Stygiansnow followed. Bluelotus waited for Morningheart.
(Trying to get Bluelotus and Morningheart more one on one time)
